Landscape Archaeology, Ecology, and Settlement History

 

Yalburt Project investigates a borderland landscape of the Hittite Empire in the modern Turkish province of Konya and district of Ilgın. The project is based at the University of Illinois's School of Art and Art History and has been carried out with the official permissions of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums since 2010.
